The Fall of Troy
In Greek mythology, The Fall of Troy occurs when the Greeks realize they can not defeat the City of Troy since their army is to powerful. The Greeks come to the conclusion that the only way to defeat the Trojans is to get their army inside of The City of Troy. With the help of Athena, Odyseeus devises a plan to build a humongous wooden horse and fill it with armed men. When the Greeks brought the horse to Troy, they convinced the Trojans it was a peace offering. The Trojans accepted the horse and brought it into the city. At night the armed Greeks stormed out of the giant horse and burned the City of Troy to the ground. At dawn the city was still on smoldering and the surviving women and children were rounded up. Troy was finally defeated.
