The Trojan War-Story
The Trojan war was the legendary war between the people of mainland Greece and the Trojans located in coastal Turkey. Many famous gods and heroes participated in this conflict such as Achilles, Hector, the 12 great Olympians and many more. The war starts off when Paris of Troy judges Aphrodite as the fairest goddess between her, Hera, and Athena. In return she gave the fairest woman in all of Greece to him. This happened to be the wife of the king of troy. When he stole her away from Menelaus, this started the historic Trojan War. For the entirety of the war both sides were evenly matched and no advantage was gained. The ensuing conflict lasted for roughly ten years, but ended with the fake withdraw of the Greeks and the Trojan Horse. This supposed peace offering in actuality held a hidden Greek force. When night came, the Greeks emerged and sacked the city and burned it to the ground.
