AeneasAeneas is a Trojan hero, the son of Aphrodite and prince Anchises. He apperas in storys such as Homer's Illiad and in Virgils Aeineid where he becomes the first true hero of Rome. Aeneas is described as strong and handsome, which are charecteristics that are similiar with his mother Aphrodite. Aeneas is also Romes first hero when him and his followers become Romes founders. Aeneas is loved by many gods and is helped multiple times when he is near his death, Aphrodite who is also his mother heals him on multiple occasions.
Dido and AeaneasEnemies of AeneasDiomedes- while fighting in the battle of Troy the Greek hero Diomedes almost kills Aeneas but the god Apollo saves Aeneas and brings him back to his temple where Aeneas is healed and mad stronger by the gods Aphrodite and Apollo.

in this myth Aeneas is already a known hero but in this story Virgil takes the disconected tales of Aeneas's wonderings and turns them into a compelling founding myth that once tied Rome to the legends of Troy. The story begins in the Journey to Italy where virgil explains the conflict of the story which is the resentment of Trojan people by the goddess Juno. from then on major events such as Flight from troy, Trojan Horse, and War in Italy which involve Aeneas and his men overcome many obstacles. which by the end Aeneas overcomes death many times and becomes Romes first hero.
